Independence Day is marked as a national holiday and this day is perfect for every Indian to spend quality time with their families and friends. The importance of this day should be known to all including kids for that matter. As a parent, you must teach your kids about the classic activities being conducted on Indian Independence Day like mandatory Indian flag hoisting, parade, singing National Anthem, and other patriotic songs.
Flag hoisting in every part of the country is observed to honor the patriotism and sacrifices of Indian freedom fighters. A tri-color flag is everyone’s favorite accessory on this day. To encompass the importance of patriotism for the nation in your children, start with teaching them about the Indian flag.
Every child should know the reason behind every color and element represented on the tri-color. Your children might find it difficult to grab everything at once. To eliminate the probability of this learning gap, you can start with an easy Indian flag DIY with your children to make learning fun for them.
Take a look at the step-by-step process of making an Indian flag at home.
